Pull Free

So, I've been going to a psychologist (or "talky doctor" as I like to call her) about my hair-pulling. Her name is -- get this -- Dr. Miracle. We've realized that my hair pulling may have started as a reaction to anxiety, depression or stress, but it's gotten to the point where it's just an incredibly strong habit. So, quitting is going to be really difficult. I was doing pretty well before I went back to St. Louis, but I just kind of lost my self-motivation last week. So I started again this past Tuesday. It's been about 2 and a half days and I'm insanely tense. Oyvey! So far, I've been able to successfully overcome my urges to pull, but it's getting more difficult every minute. I have a lot of support from friends and family, so even if I don't remain "pull free," I'll still be able to get back on track. If you wanna learn more about hair-pulling (or trichotillomania), go to the Trichotillomania Learning Center.

Anyway, I can't believe summer's almost over. I'm looking forward to this school year. I think I'll be happily busy... Thom Kudla has crowned me the Collins Alcoholic Student Leader In Training (CASLIT!)... or it could be the Alcoholic Sexy Student of Collins Student Leader In Training (ASSCLIT!). Haha sorry. I like potty and sex humor. A lot.

Tonight is the Horror Movie Slumber Party Extravaganza with Allison, Neal, Mark and Scott. So far our list consists of Cabin Fever, Donnie Darko, Mother's Day, and maybe Jeepers Creepers and The Slumber Party Massacre. Perhaps we'll play Edward Forty-Hands too... Good times!

Ok, this update was lame-o, but I'm really bored at work, so DEAL WITH IT!
