Summer Fun

I've got the pink and purple. Not so much maroon, but yeah, pink and purple.


Anyway, Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels decided that Indiana should observe Daylight Savings Time for the first time ever, so UITS has been crazy this morning. The entire schedule of classes is 1 hour off... eek. Keeps us on our toes.

Things I'm really looking forward to:

• Internship at Planned Parenthood this summer. I'll get REAL experience... not just making copies! Woohoo!


• Trip to Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan (June 19th - July 2nd) with one of my favorite IU Professors (Dr. Kay), and other Public Health students, in order to observe their health care system


• Trip to San Francisco, for the 5th annual Summer Institute on Sexuality, Society and Health (sponsored by the National Sexuality Resource Center)... that is, if I get accepted


• Adoption of a KITTY CAT after I get back from my travels!!


• Going out to dinner with Amy tonight!


• Weekend with Bonny and Jim Saraceno-- IU Soul Revue and Collinsfest!!!

Hopefully I can fit all those summer plans in, but I may not be able to. We'll see.

Anyway, I'm doing a pretty good job with eating healthy, but haven't quite added in the active lifestyle component yet. Baby steps...
