Takin it back old school

Recently I've been getting a lot of emails with pictures of my father from when he was a young lad. They're probably the coolest pictures ever.

Little Jimmy at the kitchen table.

Little Jimmy holding a bag.

Little Jimmy on prom night (I think).

Little Jimmy mowing the lawn.

Little Jimmy graduated!

Boy Scouts!

I guess the short genes run in my family.

Jimmy and his mama (my nana)

This patriotic little boy grew up to be a conscientious objector.

Nana (Agnes Saraceno), Dad (Jim), and Grampa (Salvatore Saraceno).

And now, since Dad has had the spotlight thus far, it's time for a Mother's Day report! Here are pictures from my trip to St. Louis Mother's Day weekend.

A beautiful view from inside the new Busch Stadium.

Another view from inside the stadium.

This skyline makes my heart go pitty-pat.

Jim, Anna, and Ted, and 3 hats (like the hat dance challenge at Cards games!)

More new stadium.

Dad wanted to do a photo essay of all aspects of the new stadium, so he took a picture of the duct work. Oh Jim, you're more full of shit than a port-o-potty at a Mexican rodeo!

Mama and baby, with our free pink bags! OMG!

Outside of Busch Stadium.

We are so damn cute. My mommy sure does love me.

I think I'm taller than my mom, don't you?

GEORGIE PORGIE POOPIE PANTS!!!

Mama got 3 bottles of wine from Adam. They were all gone in half an hour.

That's all for photos. Today I stopped at Collins to visit Lauren (The Duty Cutie), and she had a huge pile of free magazines, and I took Us, Allure, Wired, and my very own Cat Fancy. Now I have good stuff to read in the bathroom, instead of Paul's "World of Warcraft" handbooks. Hahaha.

On Friday night, Ellen Dwyer and Sara (my friend, her daughter) took me to Scholar's Inn Gourmet Cafe & Wine Bar, and it was amazingly fantastic. They have "Flights of Fancy" where you can sample 3 different wines. I had the Red Flight, which was Concho & Toro Diablo Merlot, Meridian Pinot Noir, and Frescobaldi Chianti. I liked the Frescobaldi the best, by far. Mmmmm, delicious. Ellen and Sara gave me a goodie bag full of amazing presents-- cat toys (one that hangs on your doorknob, and is "Barbie" brand), a blue sparkly cat collar, cat treats, and this little wooden box that the top says "I'M CRAZY" and it slides open and says "About you," which is funny, because it's the size of a pill box, and it's labeled "I'm crazy." Basically, it will give away the reason I take pills.

In other news, life without Amy Reitz is tragic, and if it weren't for websites about kitties, it wouldn't even be worth living. She lit up my life, and now I live in a world of evil and darkness.
