So, I've been at work since 8 am, and I'm on desk till 5 (it's 3:30 right now), and I am bored out of my gourd. I could get some work done, but I'm kind of too tired to function. Let me take this opportunity to share with you my new super-mega-sandals-of-glory:

Anyhoo, my friend Allison's birthday is coming up, and she's having a super happy fun night at Yogi's (well at least, that's where we're starting). My friend Sara's birthday is also coming up, and she is also celebrating at Yogi's tonight. So, there shall be lots of celebrating tonight. And by "celebrating," I mean "drinking water and trying to stay awake."
On another note, without Effexor in my system, I cry about 2 or 3 times a day at absolutely nothing, and I often feel like I'm going to get sick and/or fall down at most times. So either (a) I'm having really bad withdrawals from Effexor, (b) I'm having a bad reaction to Cymbalta, (c) a combination of A and B, or (d) one of my friends is slowly poisoning me, and this is just the beginning. If it's A, B, or C, I'm going to my doctor soon and if I'm still feeling like this, I'm just going to go back on Effexor. If it's D, well... I guess I should start being nicer to people.
I saw my long, lost buddy Phil(a.k.a. Grampa, Jack Flannel, Juan Franela) earlier today while working at the UITS desk. He's teaching a summer class, and if I was as SLIS student, I'd totally take it. I gave him a UITS mouse pad that was only slightly soiled with coffee (as opposed to the UITS mouse pad that was extremely soiled with coffee).
I've got a fun week ahead of me. On Tuesday night I'm seeing Nickel Creek and Ben Lee at the Bluebird with my favorite Dutie Cutie, Ms. Lauren Weinberg. Then on Wednesday night I'm seeing The Wina-Freds at The Player's Pub (does anybody want to come with me to this?). On Saturday evening, I'm driving up to Indy to visit Amy and Chrissi, and it's going to be glorious. We're going to hit up the Indy Pride Festival (and hopefully see Ru Paul), as well as the Guitar Center. I also plan on humping Tomato, their tiny little dog that sometimes poops inside. Oh, and the best part-- Amy's new job is having a company picnic on Sunday, and we're going to go, and Chrissi and I are going to drink and be obnoxious and make fun of people while Amy has to act nice. Haha, I can't wait.
Ted's coming to visit for my birfday, and I'm so excited to see him! He's going to help me move into my new apartment, and we may see Here Come the Mummies at the Bluebird on the night of the 16th.
That's about it for now. I'm going to try to survive my last hour at work without falling out of this chair that's very hard for someone who's 5'1" to get into.

Did you ever notice how close in spelling 'so bored' and 'sobered' are? Coincidence?
