I also found out that she's probably about 4 years old, not 1 or 2 like we originally thought. She's so tiny for a 4-year-old cat! But I love her just the same, regardless of age.
Yesterday I went to my friend John's new house to jam with him and his friends. I was on piano most of the time, but couldn't hear myself. However, John recorded our jam session on his computer, and it recorded the piano louder than any other instrument. Needless to say, I sounded like complete crap. But uh, I don't care, because I had a fantastic time, and they have a sweet setup. Oh, and I'm going to take piano lessons through IU this semester, so I'm pretty excited about that.
Right now I'm at work, and tonight I'm going to Comedy Caravan at Bear's with some friends. I'll be happy if it's funny, and I'll just get really drunk and be obnoxious if it's not funny. It's a win-win situation.
In other news, it's official: My powerbook has shot craps. I had a co-worker look at it this morning, and he said that the harddrive controller went bad. So, on Monday I'll take it into The Mac Experience to have it worked on. I may or may not cry if my data can't be backed up.
