Music Monday - Knit Me A Dream!

Guess what. I wrote a song. For this girl. For her birthday. I wrote it with my own brain and instruments and computer.

Please take a listen! You can check it out on my Myspace music page. It's called "Knit Me A Dream."

Here are the words:

She started out an ordinary knitter
She stuck with it, and wasn’t a quitter
She’ll knit you a bag for your litter
Or something to read while on the shitter

To cast her spell, a wand won’t do.
Her needles are magic and her yarn is too.
To turn a Scientologist into a Jew
She will just knit one and purl two.

Knit me some magic, Lydia
My life is tragic, Lydia
Pick up your needles, Lydia
Legendary like the Beatles, Lydia
Some kind of wizard, Lydia
Can knit through a blizzard, Lydia
I think I’ll build a shrine to Lydia
Knit me some sunshine.

She uses her power for good, not wrong
She could probably even knit you an award-winning song
She is as magical as the day is long
She knits hard and she knits strong

Knit me some money, knit me a dream
Knit me a honey, knit me some self-esteem
Knit me a new car, knit me a glove
Knit me a guitar, knit me some love

Knit me some magic, Lydia
My life is tragic, Lydia
Pick up your needles, Lydia
Legendary like the Beatles, Lydia
Some kind of wizard, Lydia
Can knit through a blizzard, Lydia
I think I’ll build a shrine to Lydia
Knit me some sunshine.

Knit me a dream, knit me a dream...
Won't you knit me a dream, Lydia?

Please don't be jealous of my glorious song writing skills.

ONNNNA! The version on your Myspace page is just instrumentals. Do you have a version with vocals? I want to hear your pretty voice so I can masturbate endlessly to it.

Dang! Sorry, I uploaded the wrong version. It's fixed now. Pleasure away!

Yo, you might get into yr template and change the page title. Look at the blue title bar (top of window). It still says 'blog of DOOM' and not 'Shambling Mound'.
