(from The Republic of T.)
While I am encouraged and inspired by the results of the presidential election, I can't help but feel disheartened because of all of the anti-gay legislation that passed. Perhaps "disheartened" is too tame of a word. I feel ill, angry, hopeless, victimized, lesser than, and full of hate for people who think it's okay to deny rights to an entire group of people just because it makes them "uncomfortable". This legislation is unacceptable, and makes tens of thousands of people feel completely unwelcome in this country. I'm disgusted, and torn between wanting to stay and fight, and wanting to get the hell out of this place.

If I'm staying, she who wants nothing more than to MOVE NOW, then you can stick it out too. I had many of the same sentiments in my own blog post, and I'm sure Amy will too.
Yet another reason we should all move to Vancouver...
