Responses to Proposition 8

There have been countless responses to Proposition 8 on the blogosphere. It's hard for me to feel anything but angry and hurt, but there are plenty of more constructive thoughts floating around. Here are a few of my favorites:
It's interesting to think about the differences, intersections, and politics of the GLBT culture and African-American culture in the United States. I feel uncomfortable even phrasing it that way, because I know there's not one definable GLBT or African-American culture. If anything, the situation emphasizes the social discrepancies and inequalities that both communities continue to face, and the long road ahead for equality.

I think you should run for political office...and I say that with complete objectivity and no personal bias...
