Family time

Rest in peace, Bubbie. I love you and miss you so much.

Last week I went to St. Louis to be with my family. I was so glad to have been there with them, and to be able to say goodbye to Bubbie. It was really difficult to say goodbye, but I am happy that she passed peacefully and painlessly, and that this happened before the Alzheimer's progressed into even worse stages.

After our week at home, Adam and I drove back to Bloomington, and he stayed the weekend with me. It was a really fun weekend. We first met at Holiday World, which was a great mix between lame-o and awesome-o. He took some fantastic pics on his camera, so there will be another photo post when he sends those to me.

Saturday night was the "After-Prom Party." Man oh man was it a good time. Adam and I made some sexy shirts. I wore one with his picture on it, and he wore one with my picture on it (see the awesome pics below):


So anyhoo, it was a fantastic time. We got a 6 pack of Busch Light 1-pint cans to commemorate the awesome beer we drank in high school. There was a band there, so after they finished playing, Adam got on drums and I got on piano, and we wrote a really cool song about vaginas, and other cool things like that.

Here is the smoking baby that Ted gave me for my birthday. All you have to do is light his little cigarette and he smokes it down!

Well, I think that's about it for my photo post. It was a really fun weekend. Tonight Allison and I watched "Dirty Filthy Love," and I think it was an awesome movie. There was even a girl in it who had trichotillomania, just like me (except that she pulled from the scalp and I pull from my eyelashes and eyebrows). I think it did a great job of depicting what it's like to have OCD, and the frustration people go through while trying to deal with it.
